In Atlanta, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Georgia, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6:30 am–2:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Atlanta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My name is Barbora and I honestly don’t know who is writing some of the negative reviews because they were nothing like our experience today. Reading them made me incredibly anxious and caused many sleepless nights before my son’s procedure—for no reason at all. From the moment we walked in, everyone at the Children’s Dental Sedation Center of Atlanta was kind, calm, professional, and compassionate. The front office staff welcomed us, validated our parking ticket, explained the paperwork, let us know who is going to be our anesthesiologist and dentist, and explained to us what to expect. Nurse Janice came in almost immediately. She was warm, professional, and incredibly sweet with my son. She checked his vitals and carefully explained each step of the process, helping us to feel much more comfortable. Next, Dr. Todd, our anesthesiologist, answered every one of my questions. Anesthesia was by far my biggest fear, but his knowledge, confidence, and kindness immediately put my mind at ease. He thoroughly explained the procedure and reassured me that my son would be well cared for. A member of the billing team also took the time to explain why white crowns could not be done. I unf

I recently received a procedure for my daughter here. This facility was very welcoming and calming. I was able to ask all the questions I needed answers to and get assurance. Ensuring my child got a safe and successful procedure. It was important to me to know that proper protocols were in place. 22 years of safety most important to me. Choa being a near by partner was a plus.

“I wanted to leave a great review for this sedation office. It looks like they may have all new staff and doctors, because everyone we interacted with was extremely kind, informative, and helpful from start to finish. I was very nervous going in because of the negative reviews I had seen online, but I’m so glad I decided to go and see for myself. My 2 1/2-year-old had oral sedation, and the process was not what I expected—in a good way. Everything was very fast, smooth, and easy. The staff made sure I understood what was happening the whole time and made me feel comfortable. Overall, we had a really positive experience, and I would definitely recommend them based on our visit.” The wait time was also great I think the whole process took less than 2 hours .

Good morning. To whom this may concern, I am reaching out because I wanted to express how horrible the office staff is. I scheduled an appt for my daughter and it has been a horrible experience since I came into contact with you all. First of all, I was given the run around by the nurses who answer the phone because I needed to gather additional information before she could have her surgery. cool. But then her appt time was changed MULTIPLE times and after she hadn’t ate, I am being told she can’t be seen. This is extremely frustrating AS THE PARENT that I have been not only disrespected from the office staff but also the new staff that is in training giving out false information. If anyone from MANAGEMENT could give me a call back or you are more than welcome to respond to my email, I am more than welcome to reach a conclusion so that legal action doesn’t have to get involved. I hope you all have a fantastic Saturday and I look forward to a response. I also left a review on the website for any one else who is trusting their child in you all’s care. God bless.

I felt the need to leave a review because if you’re a parent like me, reading the reviews may have terrified you because they terrified me. I walked in today with so much anxiety. My experience wasn’t bad at all ( thank God). We were scheduled for 10:30AM this morning. I will say that the reviews are telling the truth about the wait times however I was told at my child’s dentist office to expect the appointment to be between 3 and 5 hours and I was also told by the nurse at the sedation center how long the wait would be. The facility was nice, clean and inviting. The receptionists were very friendly. I sat down and filled out paperwork while waiting on my son to be called. His name was called in about 10 minutes. My fiance and I were asked to put on a mask and follow the nurse to a waiting room. The waiting room was nice and colorful and had a tv in it that was playing Toy Story 2. There were also plugs in this room where I was able to plug in my laptop and also play movies from it when my son grew tired of Toy Story ( he’s on the spectrum so he got tired of it really fast lol ) We waited for about 3 1/2 hours and within that time the nurse came and asked us preliminary questions
